Mary Abel 11/21/1975 DE WITT, Iowa

Mrs. Mary Abel, 83, died Thursday at Oak Glen Nursing Home in Coal Valley, Ill.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at McGinnis Funeral Home, De Witt, with the Rev. Glenn Trost of the Congregational United Church of Crist officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Visitation is Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
She was born Aug. 30, 1892, at Lowden, to John and Sophia Ruchotzke, and married John E. Abel Oct. 17, 1942, in Kahoka, Mo.
Survivors include two sons, Alvin A. Ott, Long Grove, and Edwin J. Ott, Moline; four grand- children; three great-grandchildren and two brothers, William, Oxford Junction, and Henry, Tipton. Her husband preceded her in death.
