MRS. A. STUMBAUGH FUNERAL WEDNESDAY AT

METHODIST CHURCH

Mrs. Adelaide Stumbaugh, widow of the late Samuel P.C. Stumbaugh, passed away peacefully Sunday evening at 6 o'clock at the family home, 815 South Seventh street. Her illness dates back two years, during which time she underwent an operation at Mercy hospital in May, 1925. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Methodist Episcopal church. The Rev. James E. Jones will officiate. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.

Adelaide Hand Rowe was born in Quebec, Canada, November 16, 1860, and was sixty-five years and eighteen days old at the time of her demise. Her early life was spent in Low Moore. Her husband S. P. c. Stumbaugh, two daughters, Margaret Boardman and Esther Stumbuagh, and one son, Willie, proceeded her in death. Surviving her are three daughters, Miss Ruth Stumbuagh, at home, Mrs. Herbert Bertrup of Clinton, and Mrs. C. H. Ramsey of Laurel, Miss., five sons Alfred at home, Robert of Lyons, George of Cambridge, Mass., and Roy of Gulfport, Miss; fifteen grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. D. Baker of Clinton and one brother, Charles Rowe of Onslow.
