Funeral services for Wallace William Lange, 63, Wheatland, were held April 3 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Wheatland, the Rev. Harold Koenig officiating. Burial was in St. Paul's cemetery.

Mr. Lange died March 30, 1989, at a Davenport hospital.

Marilyn Klahn was organist and Kathy Patterson sang. Pallbearers were Jim Koch, Wayne Sinksen, Kenneth Bachus, Everett Esbaum, Howard Bouchaute and Albert Bouchaute.

Mr. Lange was born Feb. 28, 1926, at Dixon, the son of Emil and Alma Koch Lange. He graduated from Wheatland high school.

Mr. Lange married Evelyn Luettgens June 18, 1949 at Big Rock. He was a retired farmer and school bus driver. He served in the army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Julie Ostrem, Waterloo; one son, Dennis, Lowden; one granddaughter, Melissa Ostrem, Waterloo; and one sister, Mrs. Ted (Alice) Schneider, Wheatland.
