Kenneth J. “Kenny” Schreiber age 76 of Clinton, passed away Wednesday Jan. 27, 2016 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. Funeral service will be held 10:30 AM Monday Feb. 1st at Prince of Peace Parish. Visitation will be held Sunday 2:00 – 6:00 PM at the Pape Funeral Home. Burial will be at St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery, Clinton. Casket bearers will be Kent, Eric, and Zach Schreiber, Steve Hosette, Micah Cram, and Brent Yoerger. Kenny was born Jan. 4, 1940 in Petersville, IA, the son of John and Irma (Kanneberg) Schreiber. He married Mary Krogman on May 9, 1959 in Clinton.
Kenny worked for Allied Steel as a crane operator for 17 years, J.T. Cullen in Fulton as a welder, and the Prince of Peace Schools as a custodian. He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and horseback riding. Kenny was a loving, caring husband, and he cherished his family. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. He was a hard worker and always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be dearly missed by so many.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Mary Schreiber of Clinton; five children, LuAnne (Steve) Hosette of Clinton, Jolene (Micah) Cram of Preston, Kent (Brenda K.) Schreiber of Miles, Lynette (Brent) Yoerger of Clinton, and Eric (Brenda L.) Schreiber of Goose Lake; 13 grandchildren, Nicole and Kelsey; Katie and Kacey; Vincent, Wyatt, and Karissa; Makenna, Emily, Lauren, and Elaina; Abbey and Zach; and two sisters, MaDonna Garien of Clinton and Sherry (John) Campbell of Maquoketa. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Kim, a grandson, Joshua, and two brothers, Cecil and David.
