Roberta “Robbi” Jenkins, 59, of Clinton, passed away, Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center – North Campus, Clinton.

Services will be 1:30pm, Monday, January 25, 2016 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00-5:00pm at the funeral home. Following the services her body will be cremated. A luncheon will follow the services at Community Reformed Church – 747 North 12th Street, Clinton.

Roberta Jean Handy was born on May 12, 1956 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Florence (Fenzel) Handy. She was a 1974 graduate of Clinton High School. She married John “Jack” Jenkins, Jr. on August 2, 1975 in Clinton; he died September 28, 2014.

Robbi was a realtor with New Age Realty, before retiring to be a grandma. She was also a supervisor with PFC for many years. She enjoyed riding on the motorcycle with her husband, and camping with family. She loved animals and trips to Talladega with friends. She loved her family and most of all her precious grandbabies.

Robbi is survived by her daughter: Chelsea (Jeremy Ray) Jenkins of Clinton; her son: Derek (Tiffany Vogel) Jenkins of Clinton; two grandchildren: Julian and Isla Ray; her brother: John (Julie) Handy of Clinton; and her brother and sister-in-laws: Kevin and Peggy Jenkins of Camnahce, Tom & Kitty Jenkins of Clinton, and Deb & Gary Hayes of Camanche; Shelly Marshall, many nieces and nephews and her beloved shih tzu: Bugsy. She was preceded in death by her parents and
her husband.
