Florence F. Miller Struck, 92, of Clinton, passed away, Tuesday, November 10, 2015 in her home at Prairie Hills in Clinton.

Funeral Services will be 11:30am, Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the First Baptist Church, 2020 North 3rd St.in Clinton. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters. Visitation will be Friday from 3:00-7:00 pm at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory, 302 3rd Ave. S. Florence Frieda Dreyer was born on March 2, 1923 in Lowden, Iowa, the daughter of Fred and Frieda (Schaeffer) Dreyer. She was a 1940 graduate of Lowden High School where she played girl's basketball. Her and her sisters sang together on the radio and in the Lowden area for years. She married Allen Miller of Calamus on August 3, 1946 in Davenport, Iowa; he died November 1993. She later married Donald Struck on June 11, 1966 in Clinton Iowa; he preceded her in death in August of 1975.

Florence worked as a bookkeeper/receptionist at Clinton County Senior Citizen’s Office for 4 years, at Clinton Quality Homes and Bossen and Totten for many years. She worked for Dr. Rogers a number of years and also at City Hall in the City Planner's Office. She was a member of the First Congregational Church for 50 years and in later years a member of the First Baptist Church in Clinton. She was a member of the Clintones, the 55 Alive Club, and the AMVETS Auxiliary. Florence was a past president and secretary at the Eagle's Club. She loved to walk, sing, dance, play cards, sit out in the sun, also liked eating ice cream daily at Prairie Hills. She loved her family and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They were the love of her life!

Florence is survived by her three children: Shirley (John) Darsidan of Clinton, Sindy (Larry) Espe of Clinton, and Marty (Deb) Miller of Clinton; two stepsons: Dennis Struck and Randall Struck; eight grandchildren: Dawn (Corey) Hyde, Shawn Darsidan, Heather Darsidan, Dana Espe, Ryan Espe, Shea (Pat) McCallister, Jamie (Stephanie) Miller, and Andrea McHenry; thirteen great grandchildren: McKenzley, Connor, Dylan, Luke, Lucas, Austin, Johnny, Gabriella, Parker, Addison, Lily, Mia, and Jamie, Jr.; a special sister-in-law: Betty Seiverding; and many nieces and nephews.

Florence was preceded in death by her two husbands, four sisters; Lillian, Dorothy, Irene and Lucille; one brother, Lawrence, stepson: Stephen Struck, and two great grandsons: Brandon and Jordan.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church or The Victory Center.
