Marcus T. Mitchell, 61, of Clinton, suddenly passed away, Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at his home – Clinton. A celebration of his life will be 5:00 pm, Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the Salvation Army in Clinton. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Marcus Trent Mitchell was born June 13, 1954 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Ronald and Ruth (Fisher) Mitchell. He was a 1972 graduate of Clinton High School.
Mark worked as a welder and contractor at ADM for many years.
Mark is survived by his four brothers: Randy (Becky) Mitchell of Clinton, Roger (Carol) Mitchell of Fulton, Orlin (Wendy) Mitchell of Fulton, and Billy Mitchell of Houston, Texas; one sister: Kathleen Hamrick; his ex-wife, Margie Mitchell of Clinton; three step children: Mary Scudella of Clinton, Robert Scudella of Clinton, and Kevin Moore of Tokyo, Japan; 2 grandchildren; a special niece Renee Bengston of Rogers, Arkansas; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Ronald Mitchell, and one sister, Gloria Mitchell.
