Michael "Mike" James Aldis, 63, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at home on Monday, November 9, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 14, at Lemke Funeral Homes - North Chapel (2304 North Second Street). A visitation will occur one hour prior to the funeral service from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at the Sabula Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Michael was born October 8, 1952 in Savanna, Illinois the son of Clifford and Delores (Duesing) Aldis. He grew up in Sabula, Iowa.
Mike was an avid Yankee, Packer and Hawkeye fan and often volunteered in support of Clinton youth baseball. He was a generous and a loving son, father, and grandfather, and will be missed dearly.
Mike is survived by his mother - Delores Aldis of Clinton, IA; his children- Chad (Amanda) Aldis of Gahanna, OH, Michelle Aldis and Victoria (Shane) Aldis-Honeycutt, of Beverly Hills, FL and Michael James Aldis, II, of Ocala, FL; one brother - Bob Aldis, of Preston, IA and seven grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father - Clifford Aldis and his brother- Bill Aldis.
