Mrs. Malinda Malmanger, 86, of Grand Mound died Monday morning, November 30, 2015, at Wheatland Manor.

She was born December 16, 1928, in Miles to Bahne and Maria Paulsen. She married Kenneth "Knute" Malmanger, April 11, 1958 in Charlotte. The couple farmed and raised their family of seven children at rural Grand Mound. Her husband preceded her in death in January 18, 2000.

Malinda was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, various groups of the church and the American Legion Auxiliary. She greatly enjoyed traveling.

Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and Phil Cross of Mesa, Arizona, Jane Wilson of Phoenix, Arizona and Luanne and Darian Osiadaez, South Cle Elum, Washington; sons and daughters-in-law, Leonard Malmanger, Petersburg, Illinois, Dennis and Sue Malmanger of Janesville, Wisconsin, Joel and Denise Malmanger of Mesa, Arizona and Barry Malmanger of Ridgefield, Washington; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sisters, Ida Deitrich of Des Moines and Joan Johnston of Richmond, Virginia.

In addition to her husband, Malinda was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Jens and Donald Paulsen.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Schultz Funeral Home, Grand Mound, from 4 until 7 p.m. Thursday, December 3rd. A Service of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 4th at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, rural Calamus with the Rev. William Runaas, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
