The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Snell-Smith Funeral Home for Glenn Scharff, 34, formerly of Clinton, who died Wednesday in Waterloo, where he had resided.
Cause of death was not known.
The Rev. Brian Carter of Lyons Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Clinton Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Scharff was born Aug. 10, 1939 in Clear Lake, Minn., the son of Ernest and Dorothy DeGree Scharff. He married Rhonda Anthony on May 15, 1973 in Morrison, Ill.
Survivors include his widow; one daughter, Shelly; his mother, Mrs. Dorothy Scharff of Charlotte; eight sisters, Mrs. Axel (Marjorie) Seikola of DeWitt, Mrs. LeRoy (Betty) Rickertsen of Charlotte, Mrs. Larry (Harriet) Simmons of Charlotte, Mrs. Jack (Darlene) Smith of Clinton, Mrs. Richard (Nancy) Dannett of Clinton, Mrs. Earl (Yvonne) Gradert of Bryant, Mrs. Darrell (Karen) Kensrud of Pueblo, Colo., and Mrs. Jacqueline Reggelsen of Rock Island; three brothers, Richard and Harry both of Charlotte and Milo of Clinton.
He was preceded in death by his father.
