GEORGE MONGOVEN

Funeral services for George Mongoven, formerly of Clinton, who died Sunday morning in Mercy hospital, will be held Thursday morning with mass at 9 o'clock in St. Mary's church. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. The body reposes in the Delaney chapel where friends may call until 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

Mr. Mongoven was born June 15, 1873, in Clinton, the son of Dennis and Catherine Darcey Mongoven. He received his education in St. Mary's school. For many years he farmed in the vicinity of Camanche.

Of his immediate family he is survived by three brothers, Francis Mongoven, who came today from Kansas, Henry and Edward Mongoven, living is the east, who will arrive to attend the funeral services, also a niece, Mrs. Carmen Strausberger, of St. Louis, Mo.
