The Clinton Herald Tuesday October 19, 1943 p. 9 Frank Monahan, 74, died in his home here Monday at midnight after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 9:30 o'clock from Immaculate Conception church, the Rev. J.T. Egan officiatiing. Burial will be in Calvary Hill cemetery. Frank Monahan was born Jan. 10, 1869, in Fulton, where he had spent his entire life. He was the son of Mrs. and Mrs. William Monahan. He was married Sept. 18, 1917, to Lena Holleran, who survives. Others who survive him are two sisters, Mrs. George Stichter of Morrison and Mrs. Susan Peters of Louisville, Ky. Preceding him in death were one son, John, in 1932, and three sisters, and two brothers.
