The Clinton Herald Thursday February 12, 1981 p. 15 The funeral for Francis Kearney, 71, Tombstone, Ariz., formerly of DeWitt, who died Tuesday in his home, will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Jospeh's Catholic church, DeWitt. The REv. Kenneth Kuntz will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Friday in Hanrahan Funeral Home, DeWitt, with a wake servie at 7 p.m. He was born Aug. 31, 1909, in DeWitt, to Michael and Anna Boyle Kearney. He married Mary DeCock Oct. 2, 1934, in DeWitt. They moved to Tombstone eight years ago. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Mary Ann) Kelly of Des Moines and Mrs. Michael (Susan) Anderson of West Point,Iowa; four sons, James of Tombstone, Robert of Viola, Thomas of Buffalo, N.Y., and Richard of Oakland, Calif.; 22 grandchildren; a brother, Vincent of Clinton; and two sisters, Mrs. Helen Troy and Mrs. Clare McQueeney, both of DeWitt. He was preceded in death by a brother.
