Linda J. Pro, 70, of West Hartford, Connecticut, formerly of Clinton, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the Hartford Hospital.

Funeral Services will be 10:30am, Thursday, July 31, 2014 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Linda Jane Anderson was born on September 19, 1943 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Burdette and Jane (Hill) Anderson. She was a 1962 graduate of Clinton High School. She then attended and graduated from Iowa State University in 1966 with a degree in mathematics.

Linda married Wallace “Wally” Pro on November 26,1966 in Clinton, IA. The couple moved to Rochester, New York, where Linda worked as a math teacher. Subsequently Linda worked as an accountant and provided computer support for various companies and businesses including Life Investors Insurance in Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a music store in Avon, Connecticut; Superior Ball in Hartford, Connecticut; and CW Resources, a rehabilitation center in West Hartford, Connecticut.

She enjoyed photography and traveling extensively throughout the country with her husband. Linda was a member of the Photography and Computer clubs in the greater Hartford area.

Linda is survived by her husband: Wallace of West Hartford, Connecticut, her brother: Paul (Carol) Anderson of Iowa City, Iowa; and four nieces and nephews: Tad (Rene) Wood of Savannah, Georgia, Tasha (Robert) Rinderle of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Trenton (Nadia) Wood of Rochester, Minnesota, and Travis (Christina) Wood of Providence, Rhode Island.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
