Letha H. Thompson, 84, of Clinton, IA, died Friday, July 18, 2014 at Davenport Lutheran Home in Davenport, Ia.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Elvira Zion Lutheran Church in Elvira. Burial will be in the Elvira Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Josh and Adam Jacobsen, Jim Beck, Bill Rowson, Carrie Rowan and Trenton Kleppe. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 9-11 am at the church.

Letha was born on June 13, 1930 in Andrew, Iowa, the daughter of Loyd and Loretta (Jurgensen) Oberman. She married Donald Rowson on April 11, 1959 in Maquoketa, IA; he preceded her death on July 14, 1967. She later married Kenneth Thompson on December 18, 1976 in Elvira, IA.
Letha was a 1947 graduate of Elvira High School. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Elvira Zion Lutheran Church. She also enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing card, crocheting and knitting. She always enjoyed lending a helping hand and her nieces and nephews.
Letha is survived by her siblings: Lenora (Robbert) Beck of Sabula, Leon (Milly) Oberman of Clinton, and Linda (Jim) Jacobsen of Goose Lake, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald and her parents.
