Brandi R. (Mangler) McClurg, age 35 of Clinton, passed away Saturday Aug. 2, 2014 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held 6:30 PM Thursday Aug. 7th at the Pape Funeral Home. A gathering of friends and family will be held Thursday 5:00 PM until the service hour at the funeral home. Brandi was born on June 13, 1979 in Maquoketa, IA, the daughter of Doug Mangler and Kathy Jensen. She married Gordon McClurg on Sept. 22, 2012 in Clinton. She worked for Swiss Colony in Clinton. She loved her dog, Sir Did. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Brandi is survived by her husband, Gordon of Clinton; her mother, Kathy Jensen of Clinton; her father, Doug Mangler of Bellevue; 6 sisters, Michelle, Dina, Jami, Sam, Sarah, and Josie; a brother, Drew; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and two uncles.
