John L. Larson, 49, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at his home on August 13, 2014. Honoring his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded with a celebration of his life taking place at the AMVETS at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
John was born October 20, 1964 in Clinton, Iowa the son of William and Helen (Mace) Larson. John was united in marriage to Kathy Bormann on March 16, 2010.
John enjoyed his job as a rail crew driver for the Union Pacific railroad which took him to various points in the operations area.
John loved the outdoors especially hunting, fishing and camping. He also enjoyed his time at the shooting range. Above all, he loved spending time with his family especially his children and grandchildren. Finally he enjoyed sharing peaceful times with his beloved pets Blondie and Lilbit. He will be sadly missed by his family and many close friends.
John is survived by his wife Kathy of Clinton, Iowa and four children.
Preceding John in death were his grandparents, his parents and two brothers.
