Shirley J. Fenn, 91, of Clinton, passed away, May 1, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center – North Campus, Clinton.

Graveside Services will be held at a later date at Rose Hill Cemetery – Camanche. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Shirley Jane Fenn was born on November 19, 1922 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Earl and Lillian (Rudolph) Fenn.

Shirley served in the United Sates Navy’s WAVES during World War II from 1944-1946.

Shirley was employed in the housekeeping department at Jane Lamb Hospital for 21 years. She also worked at the Schick Hospital from 1943-1944.

Shirley is survived by a brother: Earl “Bud” Fenn of Orange, California.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and three aunts.
