Rodney Wade Annear, 51, of Morrison, Illinois passed away peacefully at Pleasant View Rehabilitation and Health Care Center on June 7, 2014. With assuring hope he was greeted at heaven's gate by his loving mother and father who welcomed him home. Private services will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2014. Burial will take place at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Rodney was born July 1, 1962 in Clinton, Iowa the son of Russell and Darlene (Hansen) Annear. He was a graduate of Clinton High School.
Rodney enjoyed fishing and sports. He also loved listening to music, especially KISS. His other hobby was working on his car. Earlier on he enjoyed visiting his grandmother and grandfathers farm. Rodney had a very close relationship with his mother and father.
Rodney is survived by two brothers - Randy (Maureen) Annear of Clinton, IA., Ron (Pam) Annear of Clinton, IA.; two nieces - Sierra and Karlee; one nephew Blake; one great niece - Marlee; two aunts - Pat (John) Burroughs of Davenport, IA., Dianne Tew of Martelle, IA., two uncles - Richard (Betty) Hansen of Massillon, IA., Donald (Martha) Hansen, Heartland, MI.
Preceding Rodney in death were his parents - Darlene and Russell Annear.
Memorials made will be directed to the wishes of the family.
