Jane Butzbach Meyer, age 84 of Clinton died Sunday at Mercy Living Center South. A celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 26th at 2:00 P.M. at the First Congregational Church in Clinton with Pastor Michael Brewer officiating. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 1:00 P.M. until time of service. Online condolences can be made at www.papefh.com.

Jane B. Meyer was born June 4, 1929, to William J. and Ruth Konkle Butzbach. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1947 and married Delbert F. Meyer, June 3, 1951.

As a devoted volunteer she was active throughout her life with many organizations. Past President of Mercy Auxiliary, Past President of Band and Orchestra Parents, Former Residential Chair of the United Way, Member and Past Board President of the Clinton Chapter Iowa Heart Association and State Board of Directors.

As a lifelong member of the First Congregational Church, she was a member of the Board of Trustees and Diaconate. She retired as a Customer Service Rep from DuPont Company in 1991 after 35 years.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Delbert, step-brother Herbert Butzback, her parents and Laura’s life partner Kim. She is survived by her children; Timothy (Kathy) of Cedar Rapids, Laura of Clinton, Thomas of Las Vegas, NV, her grandchildren; Logan, Lenexa, Kansas and Chloe (Matt) Carpenter of Cedar Rapids, and great grandchildren; Charlotte and Del.
