The Clinton Herald Thursday January 2, 1941 p 5 Frank Krogmann, 73, of Hampshire township, died at 11:40 o'clock last night in his home. The Rev. E.F. Jackson will celebrate the requiem high mass at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Irenaeus church. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus-Calvary cemetery. The body reposes in the home of Mr. Krogmann's daughter, Mrs. William McEleney, 814 Main avenue. Mr. Krogmann was born Aug. 6, 1867, in Germany, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Krogmann. He and Miss Sophia Detterman were married Jan. 25, 1888, in Clinton. Surviving are 10 children, Joseph, Ben, Frank, Martin and Herman Krogmann. Mrs. Nick (Frances) Conner, Mrs. John (Clara) Tigh, Mrs. Frank (Mary) Berding, Mrs. William (Rosalie) McEleney and Mrs. Lawrence (Agnes) Paskert, all of Clinton and community; three sisters, Mrs. Josephine Horst of Fisher, Ark., and Mrs. Mary Gasper and Mrs. Lena Caviezel of near Clinton; two brothers, Clem and John Krogmann of near this city; 30 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Preceeding him in death were a sister and three brothers.
