Isaac Steven Overberg, the son of Casey and Kelli Overberg of Low Moor, Iowa, was born into the arms of Jesus and joined his grandpa Kurt Overberg and great grandma Teresa Sefcik in heaven, on Sunday, March 23, 2014.

He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his parents, brothers, Jeremy and Benjamin; grandparents, Connie Overberg of Emmetsberg, Robert and Cheryl Zimmer of Des Moines; great-grandparents, Bernard and Virginia Overberg of West Point, Albert Sefik of Pocahantas, Don and Barbara Zimmer of Des Moines, and Norman and Yvonne Hoag of Des Moines; aunts and uncles Jessica, Zachary and Ashley Overberg, Katie (fiancé John) Zimmer, and Brandon Zimmer.

Isaac, the “Silent Squeeker,” was born with a heart of gold, which gave the gift of life and hope to others through the Iowa Donor Network. Isaac’s family wishes to express their thanks to the local mothering community, and especially to Jessica Houk, for all of their support during this most difficult time.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials are suggested to the family.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt, Iowa. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Private burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, DeWitt.
