The Clinton Herald, pg 5 Tues, 20-Jan-1942 Anthony C. Brandt The death of Anthony C. "Tony" Brandt occurred at 8:15 p.m.Monday in the home of his son, Leon B. Brandt, 215 Third avenue,South with whom he made his home the past 22 years. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Shadduck funeral home, the Rev. Frederic G. Williams of Grace Episcopal church, officiating. The body reposes in the funeral home where friends may call. Anthony, son of Henry and Teresa Lohberg Brandt, was born in April l8, l863, in Quincy,Illinois, coming to the old town of Lyons with his parents when a small child. He was employed as a foreman in the M.A.Disbrow Company until his retirement. He is survived by his sons, Leon B. Brandt of Clinton and Frank C. Brandt of Chicago;two grandaughters, Mrs. Harold Dekker and Miss Deborah Brandt of Clinton, and several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife and a son, Bert.
