Barbara L. Martin, 65, of Clinton, passed away, Thursday, October 10, 2013 at home surrounded by her family.

Per her wishes she deeded her body to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. A Celebration of her life will be 11:00am, Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Zion Lutheran Church. The family will greet friends from 10:15am to the service time at the church. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements. Barbara Lee Stahl was born on December 16, 1947 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Leon and Grace (Longlett) Stahl. She was a 1966 graduate of Clinton High School.

Barbara was currently a salesperson at Eastman House Furniture in Clinton.

Barbara was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She enjoyed riding her bicycle with her husband and sisters, gardening, and spending time with her family especially her sisters and grandchildren. She loved and enjoyed God's creation and always wanted to share in the beauty with loved ones and her pup companions.

Barbara is survived by her husband: John of Clinton; three sons: Jon (Dana) Martin of Kansas City, Kansas, Benjamin Martin of Clinton, and Michael (Jennifer) Martin of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; five grandchildren; her sister: Lynn (Gary) Saelens of Thomson, Illinois, and sister-in-law: Lou Ann Stahl of Clinton and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Jerry & Dave Stahl, and a niece Kelsey Stahl.
