Scott Edward Roberts, 59, of Clinton, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the Alverno Health Care Facility, Clinton, surrounded by his family.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Per his wishes cremation rights have been accorded. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.

Scott was born on July 22, 1953 in Savanna, Illinois, the son of Harold and Bernice (Ready) Roberts. He was a 1971 graduate of Preston High School.

Scott was an avid flea market and yard sale fan. The many collectables he acquired over the years gave him great pleasure.

Scott is survived by his father Harold Roberts of Preston, Iowa, sisters: Cheryl Shadle of Preston, Karen Tracy of Clinton, Tina Roberts of Clinton; brothers: Ric (Judy) Roberts of Fulton, Il, and Mark Roberts of Bloomington, IL; and several nieces and nephews. Also a special mention to Scott’s dear friends (family) Jackie and Kevin Burken and James Mohr.

Scott was preceded in death by his mother: Bernice Roberts and a sister.
