8 April 1943 - The Clarence Sun

Mrs. Anna Struck, aged 66 years, a lifelong resident of Toronto, passed away Tuesday morning, March 30, 1943, in the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Willey. She had been in failing health for several years, but because of other complications she was confined to her bed the past five months.

Anna Willert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Willert, was born April 4, 1876, in Toronto, Iowa, and on November 3, 1898, she was united in marriage to Henry Struck, who preceded her in death on September 5, 1930.

Left to mourn her passing are two sons, Walter of Davenport and Henry of Toronto; one daughter, Mrs. Esther Willey of Toronto; three granddaughters, Betty and Lola Mae Struck and Gloria Ann Willey; one sister, Mrs. O. C. Mowry of Toronto. Besides her husband, two brothers, Herman and August Willert, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Struck will be sadly missed in the family group as her chief concern was their welfare. She was a kind and helpful neighbor and a friend to all.

Funeral services were held Friday in the Toronto Community church with Rev. C. H. Koehler officiating. Burial was made in the Massillon cemetery.

Clarence people who attended the funeral: Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Severin, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Fehling.
