James R. Streat age 67 of Clinton died Tuesday May 21, 2013 at his home. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday May 29th at the Pape Funeral Home. A gathering of friends and family will be held Wednesday 10:00 am until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. James was born on Aug. 13, 1945 in Clinton, IA, the son of Cecil Dague and Zula Kenworthy. He graduated from Clinton High School and served in the US Marines. He worked for O’Reilly’s Auto Parts in the auto parts service department. He was a member of the Savanna VFW and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

James is survived by two brothers, Richard Streat and Claude Streat, Jr.; two sisters, RoseMary Bickford and Viola Trude. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and two sisters.
