Evelyn L. Anderson, 97, of Clinton, died Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Mercy Living Center – North.

Funeral Services will be 11:00am, Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Chancy Lutheran Church with Rev. Fred Schauer officiating. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30am to the service time Tuesday at the church. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Evelyn Lucille Duhr was born on March 13, 1915 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Jurgen and Elsie (Schultz) Duhr. She was a 1933 graduate of Clinton High School. She married Harold E. Anderson on June 24, 1936 in Clinton; he died September 30, 1994.

Evelyn was a homemaker.

Evelyn was a member of Chancy Lutheran Church were she was very active in the Women of Chancy. She also was a Sunday School teacher and played the piano for Sunday School. She enjoyed dancing at the Moose Club, and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

Evelyn is survived by two daughters: Sharon Ketelsen of Clinton; Barbara Leach of Orland, California; 3 grandchildren: Lisa Ketelsen of Tempe, Arizona, Laura (Frank) Blake of Bloomingdale, Illinois, and Lynne (Jack) Thomas of Sycamore, Illinois, and two great-grandchildren: Casey Jepsen and Katie Blake.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, both son-in-laws: Marvin and John and one brother: Robert.
