Patti S. Phillips, age 41, of Clinton passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Eagle Point Nursing Home after a courageous battle with colon cancer. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.

Patti was an outgoing person who had a passion for life and food. She was born in Clinton on July 16, 1971 the daughter of Robert and Sue (Jorgensen) Phillips. She graduated from Clinton High School. Patti worked three summers in the kitchen at Jane Lamb Hospital thru J.T.P.A. She later worked at the Skyline Center. Patti enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and her two cats, Simon and Sammy. She liked riding the MTA bus, going to movies, going to the Clinton pool, taking pictures, fishing, and eating out, especially at HyVee.

Patti is survived by her parents, Robert and Sue Phillips of Clinton; two sisters, Ann (Rick) Mojeiko of Clinton and Betsy (Ryan) Behrens of North Liberty; nieces Danielle Mojeiko, Megan Mojeiko, Bella Behrens, Ellie Behrens and an adopted brother, Anthony. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and June Phillips and Helen Jorgensen.
