Joan E. Evers age 58 of Clinton passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center North. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday Feb. 16th at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday at the Pape Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com

Joan was born on November 13, 1954 in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Myron and Jeanette (Creveling) Fallesen. She was a graduate of Northeast High School. She married Chris Evers on Dec. 18, 1976 in her parent’s home in Clinton. She was a secretary at Calvary Baptist Church and the Clinton Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading and her cats.

Joan is survived by her husband, Chris Evers of Clinton; three children, James (Stacy) Evers, Joseph Evers, and Robert (Vickie) Evers all of Clinton; two granddaughters, Kendra and Kaitlyn; and two brothers, Wade and Brian Fallesen both of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents.
