Kenneth H. McQuistion, 38, of Clinton, passed away, Friday, February 8, 2013 surrounded by his loving family at his home.

Funeral Services will be 10:00am, Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Springdale Cemetery with military honors being conducted by the Clinton AMVETS Post #28. Serving as pallbearers will be Don Ruehl, Phillip Langrehr, Andrew Langrehr, Jim Harksen, Brian McQuistion, and Jim Baker. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00-8:00pm at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting his obituary at www.snellzornig.com

Kenneth Harper McQuistion was born on May 31, 1974 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Nick and Paula (Stormes) McQuistion. He was a 1993 graduate of Fulton High School. He was a veteran of the Marine Corps serving from 1995-1997.

Ken married Marla Jo Manning on March 25, 2000 in Clinton.

Ken was currently a welding engineer with Timken/Drives in Fulton working there since 1999. Prior to Drives he was the maintenance supervisor at the Ramada Inn in Clinton.

Ken enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan.

Ken is survived by his loving wife: Marla of Clinton; a daughter: Kendra at home, and a son: Kenneth “Harper” at home; his mother: Paula (John) Luckritz of Clinton, his father: Nick (Traci) McQuistion of Fulton, his maternal grandmother: Lois Stormes of Clinton; five brothers: Michael (Karen) McQuistion of Camanche, Aaron (Dawn) McQuistion of Fulton, Joseph McQuistion of Fulton, Patrick McQuistion of Fulton, and Eddie Luckritz of Clinton; two sisters: Jennifer Wilson of North Carolina, and Talia Voss of Camanche; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ken was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, and his maternal grandfather.
