EUGEN HIMEBROOK

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Snell-Zornig Funeral Home, Clinton for Eugene Himebrook, 71 of 214 16th Place. He died Monday in Jane Lamb Hospital.
The Rev. Leslie Pritchard of First Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Camanche. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
Pallbearers will be Norman Stickel, Thomas Eberle, John Geltz. William Gervias, Dallas Schumacher and Earl Scott.
He was born June 10, 1910, in Clinton, to Albert and Mary Himebrook. He married Mary Goers Oct. 25, 1947, in Davenport. He worked at Clinton Corn Processing Co., retiring in 1950, and was a member of the 25-year club and Veterans of Foreign Wars and a World War II Veteran.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Gerald of Kansas City, Kan.; three brothers, Arnold, Marvin and Leonard, all of Clinton; a sister, Mrs. Fred (Dorothy) Smith of Clinton; two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son.
