JOHN K. YEAKLE

John K. Yeakle, an old soldier, died at his home at 512 North Second Street, at 9:15 o'clock Wednesday night, after an illness of ten weeks from Bright's disease. He was a Pennsylvania German and would have been 57 years old next March. He served in the Civil War with the 3rd Pennsylvania Infantry. He leaves his wife, but no children.

The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon from the late residence. Interment will be at Springdale. All old soldiers are requested to be present.
