Clinton Herald Monday November 16, 1959 p 11 Otto G. Lawrenz, 75, of 256 Myra Pl., died Sunday morning at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Zion Lutheran church, with Rev. M.S. Bredow officiating. Entombment will be in Rose of Sharon mausoleum in Clinton Memorial park. The body will be taken to the church at noon Wednesday. Friends may call at the Bragonier-Fay funeral chapel after 7 p.m. today. Mr. Lawrenz was born May 8, 1884, in Pomerania, Germany, the son of Bernhard and Pauline Bier Lawrenz. He came to Clinton with his parents at the age of 4 and has resided here ever since. He was married to Maude Rasmussen Oct. 10, 1907. He was in the general contracting business in Clinton for many years, retiring 10 years ago, and a member of Zion Lutheran church. Survivors include his wife, 1 daughter, Mrs. Russell (Betty) Lee of Chillicothe, Ill.; 1 granddaughter and 1 grandson; 1 sister, Mrs. Max Carstensen of Clinton; 1 brother, Ben of Racine, Wis., and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 daughter, Nita, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
