Regina (Mrs. Vincent) Hahn, 76, Grand Mound, died early Tuesday morning, May 10, 2011 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.

Mrs. Hahn was born Regina Elaine Vens September 5, 1934 in Wheatland, to Peter and S. Mary (Bouchaute) Vens and graduated from Calamus High. She worked for a brief time at Iowa Mutual Insurance. Regina married Vincent Hahn May 18, 1957 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Big Rock. The couple resided in the Grand Mound area where Regina was a homemaker, raising their family.

She was a member of Saints Philip and James Catholic Church, Grand Mound, the Altar and Rosary Society and the Grand Mound American Legion Auxiliary. Regina loved her family dearly and treasured the time she spent with them.

Surviving are her loving husband of nearly 54 years, Vince; children, Barb (Rob) McReynolds, Wheat Ridge, Colorado, Linda (Mark) Schoening, DeWitt, and David (Donna) Hahn, Des Moines; grandchildren, Mitch Schoening, Megan McReynolds, Kristina Rankins, Mo McReynolds and Danielle Hahn; a great-grandson, William Rankins; a brother, Ed (Mary Jane) Vens, Calamus; numerous other relatives and friends.

Preceding Regina in death were her parents, grandchildren, Neil McReynolds and Drew and Dena Schoening.

Family and friends may visit at Schultz Funeral Home, Grand Mound, from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2011 with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 12, 2011 in Saints Philip and James Catholic Church, Grand Mound. The Rev. Fr. David Brownfield will officiate. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Grand Mound. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials are suggested to Saints Philip and James Building Fund or your favorite charity.

Pallbearers will be Regina's grandchildren.
