Michael F. Meder, 64, of Clinton, Iowa died Friday, March 4, 2011 at Mercy North, Clinton. Memorial services will be 11am Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory.

Michael was born October 31, 1946 in Clinton, the son of Herbert and Lois (Meyers) Meder. He married Betty Bought in Camanche on August 20, 1983; she preceded him in death October 24, 2000.

Michael was a US Army Vietnam veteran. He was employed as a construction worker and

worked on automobiles for several years. He enjoyed camping, fishing and riding his bike.

Survivors include his son, Joseph Meder of Carrolton, KY, Step-sons, Todd Willis, Trevor Willis both of Camanche and Tim Bought of Humboldt, IA, his sister Susan Smith of Clinton, brother, Herbert L. Meder of Davenport, father, Herbert F. Meder of Clinton and nieces and nephews, Michelle Hartson, Tonia Hartson and Jerry Houston.

He was preceded in death by his wife and mother.

Memorials may be made to the family.
