Irene Pearl Perry, 76, of Clinton, passed away peacefully Friday, March 18, 2011 at The Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at Lemke Funeral Homes, North Chapel, 2304 North 2nd Street.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 22, 2011 from 4:30 to 7:00p.m. at the funeral Home. Burial will take place in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes has been assisting the family.

Pallbearers will be Casey Perry, Bobby Perry, Dave Hoerschelmann, Mark Schultz, Chris Evans, and Randy Brewer. Honorary Pallbearers are Justin Perry, Logan Robinson, and Steven Perry.

Irene was born April 12, 1934 in Nauvoo, Illinois the daughter of Albert and Lois ( Heady ) Nehring. Irene graduated from Nauvoo High School in 1952.

On December 17, 1955 she married Cecil Perry. They were united in marriage in Burlington, Iowa.

Irene was a busy Mom raising her 3 sons and 1 daughter. Irene enjoyed to travel, eating out, and visiting casinos. Her biggest joy was her grandchildren.

Irene is survived by, her loving husband of 55 years, Cecil of Clinton, 3 sons, Randy (Cindy) Perry, of Clinton, Richard Perry, of Clinton, Russell Perry, of Clinton, 1 daughter, Rebecca (Dallas) Thielen, of Clinton, 10 grandchildren, Shawnna (Chris) , Casey, Bobby, Sara, Stevie, Justin, Logan, Carlie, Kaylee, Samantha, 3 great-grandchildren, Brennan, Calob, Ella, 3 step-greatgrandchildren, Cody, Haley, Kennedy, 1 sister, Edith Growinkel, of Wappelo, Iowa 2 brothers, Albert Nehring, of Clinton, Raymond Nehring, of Ft. Madison, Iowa, and special friend and caretaker, Wendy Hull and her daughter, Whitney.
