Milton "Mick" Kramer - 73

Cedaredge, CO / Clinton - Delta Businessman Milton “Mick” Earl Kramer of Cedaredge, CO passed away on Friday, February 4, 2011 at the Delta County Memorial Hospital. He was 73. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at the Pape Funeral Home in Clinton, IA. Graveside services will follow at Oakland Cemetery

Mick was born on August 25, 1937 to George Emmet and Wilma Elaine Carpenter Kramer in Andover, Iowa. He spent his childhood and schooling in Andover, Iowa. On Oct 9, 1965 Mick married Rebecca Catherine Dake in Savannah, Illinois. Mick has been a resident of Cedaredge CO for the past 31 years coming from Arizona, to Colorado. He was formerly married to Bernadette Bouchreau.

Mick owned the Delta Trading and Pawn Store. Prior to that, he was an operating engineer with heavy equipment. Mick loved his family. He enjoyed helping others, guns, hunting, and being an artist.

Mick is survived by his wife Rebecca “Becky” Kramer of Cedaredge, CO: three sons; Charles Kramer and Dawn Manhart of Fort Collins, CO, Richard Kramer of Cedaredge, CO, and Cary and Tara Kramer of Athens, TX: Three daughters; Catherine and Frank Martinez of Grand Junction, CO, Dominique and David Fredericksen of Tucson, AZ Cindi Baker of Canal Winchester, Ohio: Three brothers; George Kramer and his wife Georgia of Clinton, Gene Kramer of Clinton, and Gerald Kramer of Phoenix, AZ: Seven sisters and their husbands: Carole and Ike Marburger of Sabula, Brenda and Bob Case of Lake Geneva, WI, Sharon and Dick Giddings of Rockford, IL, Sandy and Tom Marburger of Davenport, Joyce and Peter Tode Of Phoenix AZ. Janet and Dean Marburger of Flagstaff, AZ, and Jackie Kramer of Clinton: Sixteen grandchildren of which two he helped raise Catrina Ankarlo and Derek Albertson and a very special grandson, Cary Russel Kramer; 6 Great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Mick was preceded in death by a brother Ronnie Kramer, Great Grandson Landon Barton, His parents, a son Russell Griswold. Memorial contributions may be made to the Masonic Lodge or Shriners’ Hospital. He had helped nine children get into the Shriners’ children’s hospital.
