The Clinton Herald Wednesday March 27, 1996 p. 9 The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Preston, for Ingwer Hansen, 90, formerly of rural Bryant, who died Monday at Samaritan North. The Rev. Karl Wolf will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Miller Funeral Home, Preston. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Hansen III, Shawn Henning, Marh and Kent Olson, Brian Paulsen and Stacy Whitehall. He was born Aug. 3, 1905, in Bargur, Germany, to Paul and Hannah Hansen. He came to the United States in 1924 to the Grand Mound area. He married Marie Petersen in 1928. She died in 1950. He later married Amanda Paulsen in 1951 in Germany. She died in 1977. He farmed for many years in the Miles-Bryant area, until moving to Clinton in 1972. Survivors include two stepsons, Peter H. Paulsen of Bellingham, Wash., and Werner Paulsen of Moline, Ill.; three grandsons; eight stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, a sister and two brothers. Death date: March 25, 1996.
