Miss Emma Lampe, 2814 North Second street died Sunday afternoon at her home as the result of gas asphxlation. Miss LAMPE was found by her mother on returning home late in the afternoon.
Police Officer Ray LAGE was summoned and he called headquarters for the Interstate Power Co , an inhalator. Effort to resisutate were futile. Corornor L. G. Riggert was notified. No inquest will be held, he announced.
Unmailed letters addressed by the dead woman to several friends were discovered in the home.
Miss Emma L. LAMPE, 43, ??10 North Second street, was born in Clinton county, June 22, 18??. She lived on a farm in Hampshire township until two years ago when the family moved to Clinton. She lived with her mother, Mrs. Mary D. LAMPE, three brothers, Henry and William in Clinton and Peter LAMPE of ?, and one sister, Miss Alvina LAMPE of Clinton.
