Clinton - Marian Bidrawn, 93, of Clinton passed away on Monday, October 11, 2010 at Mercy Living Center North in Clinton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 14th at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until the service time Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.

Marian Scofield was born on March 1, 1917 to Leslie Frank and Jennie (Brown) Scofield. She graduated from Lyons High School in 1934. Marian married Sam Louis Bidrawn on November 19, 1936 in Clinton. Sam preceded her in death on April 18, 1986.

Marian and Sam were self-employed gardeners. She was known for her strawberries and other fresh vegetables that she sold from their farm. She enjoyed reading the Clinton Herald and solving the daily cryptoquote. Marian loved to cook and bake for her sons when they came to visit, especially her parker house rolls and cinnamon rolls.

Marian is survived by three sons: John Bidrawn of Mt. Holly, NJ; Sam (Carol) Bidrawn of Effingham, IL; and David (Penny) Bidrawn of Clinton. She is also survived by three grandsons, four granddaughters and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband Sam, Marian was preceded in death by her parents, her son Leslie Bidrawn, and her brothers Frank and John Scofield, and her sister Florence (Scofield) Fryslie.
