The Clinton Herald Wednesday Apirl 30, 1913 p. 1 & 4 Thomas Lynch was aged 47 years and was born on a farm near Lyons living in Lyons practically his whole life. During the early years he worked in the big sawmills, but for the past seven or eight years he had been employed at the Ford Manufacturing Co. plant where the accident occurred. Here he held the position of "feeder" to the big beader which chops up the rags etc., into fine pieces and, in this position, he was noted for his carefulness and caution. During the winter just passed he had laid off work at the concern and had returned to work but three weeks ago. His brothers, Frank and John Lynch, are the only near relatives living in this vicinity. The deceased was a batchelor and he and his brother Frank lived by themselves at 502 Commercial street. An aunt, Mrs. James Doran, also lived in Lyons. Mr. Lynch, the father, died about two years ago, while the mmather passed away about seven years ago. Two sisters are left to mourn the deceased, Mrs. Kate Carpenter of Appleton, Wis., and Mrs. W.H. Mitchell of Michigan City, Ind.
