Interment: Thursday September 02, 2010 at Lost Nation Cemetery, Lost Nation, Iowa

Lorraine Emma Block was born February 12, 1930 in rural Grand Mound, Iowa, to Adolph and Irene (Haack) Block. She graduated from Welton High School in 1948. She married Howard L. Wulf on December 5, 1948 in Grand Mound, Iowa. He died on March 8, 1988. Lorraine worked with her husband on the farm for many years. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Lost Nation. She was active in the church, enjoyed quilting, card clubs, and helping to get the Scoop out every week.

Lorraine is survived by three children, Dennis (Deborah) Wulf of Camanche, Dianne (Lon) Papke of Miles, and Doug Wulf of Cedar Rapids; 5 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Lois (Russell) Moore-Rittmer & Eileen (Ray) Flammang, and a brother, Allen (Marilyn) Block, all of Grand Mound. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a daughter-in-law, Anita Wulf in 1989.

Lorraine E. Wulf, 80, of Lost Nation, Iowa, died Monday, August 30, 2010, at her home.
