DAVENPORT - Leonard LeRoy Mueller, 95, died on Monday, March 21, 2005, at Davenport Good Samaritan Center, Davenport.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt, Iowa. The Rev. Dennis Arndt will officiate. Burial will be in Allen's Grove Cemetery, Dixon, Iowa. Visitation will be 3 until 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be left to the Donahue Fire Department or your favorite charity.

He was born March 13, 1910, in Olive Township, to Henry A. and Martha Ludvigson Mueller. On July 21, 1937, he was united in marriage to Mildred Whisler at Immanuel Lutheran parsonage in Grand Mound, Iowa. They farmed in Clinton and Scott County.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred; daughter, Margie (Mrs. Ronald) Thiering, Stockton, Iowa; son, Garry Mueller, Donahue, Iowa; granddaughters, Michelle Cook, and her husband, Clark, Des Moines, and Marla Freeman, and her husband, Mark, Davenport; two great-grandchildren, Blake and Molly Freeman; and sisters-in-law, Marcella Grau, DeWitt, and Elaine (Mrs. Harold) Matherly, Milan, Ill.
