Ruth H. Wall
(October 18, 1919 - August 7, 2010)

Ruth H. Wall, 90, died on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at Amber Ridge Assisted Living in DeWitt.
Ruth was born October 18, 1919 in DeWitt to Henry and Bay (Cross) Gravert.

On February 11, 1939, she married Marvin Wall. He died November 13, 1995.

Over the years she was employed at the Clinton Garment Company, McManus Produce, cook for Central Schools for 25 years and the Welton Post Office.

Ruth enjoyed playing bingo and cards, crossword puzzles, quilting and embroidery.

She is survived by her children, Maurice (Ann) Wall, Smyrna, TN., Twyla (John) Hinz, Morton, IL and daughter-in-law, Connie Wall, DeWitt, 9 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and her brother, Ralph Gravert, Morrison, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Dale Wall, and grandson, Jeffrey Wall. She also had a sister and brother preceding her in death.

Visitation will be 4 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt. Funeral services will be 10:30 on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt.

Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.

Memorials may be left to the American Cancer Society.
