Carrie Morhardt, 48, of Clinton, died Sunday at Mercy Medical Center, North Campus, Clinton.

A Memorial Visitation will be Wednesday, July 28, 2010 from 4:00-7:00pm at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. A prayer will conclude the visitation. Private burial will be held at the Lower York Cemetery.

Carrie Lynn Bielema was born on November 24, 1961 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Carol (Johnson) Bielema. She married Rodney Morhardt on November 4, 1993 in Mt. Carroll, Illinois.

She had been employed with CBS Cleaning and was a homemaker.

She enjoyed drawing, painting, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband: Rodney Morhardt of Clinton; five sons: Jeremy Morhardt of Clinton, Justin Morhardt of Clinton, Jared Morhardt of Clinton, Allix Morhardt of Clinton, and Dayton Morhardt of Clinton; four daughters: Christina (Rich) Preston, of Mazon, Il, Amy (Derek) McMahon of Machesney Park, IL, Sierra Morhardt of Clinton, and Braxton Morhardt of Clinton; 9 grandchildren, her mother: Carol (Bruce) Rieck of Sabula her maternal grandmother: Ruby Johnson of Clinton: 2 sisters: Dawn (Scott) Elliott of Thomson, Illinois, and LeAnne (John) Barsema of Fulton, Illinois; one brother: Robert (Jeanine) Bielema of Thomson, Illinois, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and one son: Jacob.

Memorials can be made to the family.
