Luella Good, 81, of Clinton died Monday, July 19, 2010, at Mercy Living Center - South Campus.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 24, at 1 p.m. at Lemke Funeral Home - South Chapel with Pastor Chris Minor-Heilig officiating.

Visitation is Saturday, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.

Luella was born Sept. 7, 1928, in Albany, Ill., to Jabes and Josephine Zeeryp Geerts. She married Marvin Good May 10, 1946, in Clinton.

Luella was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing, crocheting and family togetherness.

Survivors include daughters, Barb (Lanny) Kruse of Clinton; Lu Sherwood of Oklahoma City, Okla.; sons, Gene (Susan) of Inver Grove Heights, Minn., Marvin Jr. (Laurel) of Clinton, Lee (Joan) of Charlotte and Ray (Marianne) of Manchester; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary (Harold) Woods of Clinton; brothers, Clarence (Mary Lou) Geerts and Paul (Penny) Geerts, all of Elwood; and two brothers-in-law.

Luella was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters and two brothers.

A memorial has been established.
