Clinton, Iowa - Barbara Jean Crieger, 66, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away on June 30, 2010 at Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport. She was born on June 15, 1944 in Muscatine, Iowa.

Barb was a proud member of the Clinton Community School System. She dedicated more than 20 years as a volunteer at the Victory Center Rescue Mission and was an actively involved member for many years of the Evangelical Free Church of Clinton.

Barbara was survived by six siblings; Elaine Hazelwood of Pelahatchie, MS; Shirley Reid (husband Dale) of Moline, IL; Darrell Crieger (wife, Georgia) of Muscatine, IA, and Geri Crieger, Marsha Crieger-Weber (husband, Richard), and Denise Brown of Clinton, Iowa. She was especially close to and survived by her niece, Katina Crieger-Richardson and Katina’s son, Brogan, of Galena, IL. Barb also left behind many other nieces and nephews.

Barb was preceded in death by Karen Crieger, Hilda Crieger, and James Crieger, as well as her parents, Nellie and Isaac Crieger.

A private memorial service will be held as she requested. A luncheon honoring her life and her contributions to others will be held at the Evangelical Free Church, 1010 13th Avenue North, Clinton, Iowa, on Tuesday, July 6 at 11:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Pregnancy Crisis Center at the Evangelical Free Church in Clinton. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com
