Lloyd Delmar Evans
(June 16, 1929 - July 15, 2010)

Lloyd "Bud" D. Evans, 81, DeWitt, died early Thursday morning, July 15, 2010 in his home.
He was born June 16, 1929 in Moline, Illinois to Ivan and Venetta (Anderson) Evans. Bud married Donna Rannals, Febrary 27, 1954 in Rock Island, Illinois. The couple have resided in DeWitt, since 1973. He served in the Iowa National Guard for 9 years with the Davenport Unit. Bud worked as a Union Pipefitter from 1949 until retirement in 1985.

Bud was a member of the Plumbers and Fitters Union #387 now #25. He greatly enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Donna; children, Laura (Mrs. Richard) Cole, Cedar Rapids, Jan (Mrs. Richard) McCrae, Phoenix, Arizona, and Lloyd Evans, Washington State; grandchildren, 8 grandkids and 11 great-grandkids; a sister, Delores Miller, Massachusettes.

Preceding Bud in death were his parents and brothers, LeRoy and Richard.

At Lloyd's request, no visitation or service will be held. Interment will be at Davenport Memorial Park.
