Anna Mae Filitti

Anna Mae Filitti, 89, of Clinton, died Monday, July 5, 2010, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf. Funeral services will be noon, Thursday, July 8, 2010, at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4 - 7PM, Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory and from 11Am until the service hour Thursday. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Clinton.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Jonathan Filitti, Brett Andrus, Craig Bice, Brian Boyles, Lisa (Filitti) Boyles, Linsey Bice and Brandon Boyles. Ashlynn (Andrus)Smith will be an honorary pallbearer.

Anna was born January 10, 1921, in Avon, New York the daughter of Dominic and Angeline (Madomia) Temperato. Anna married Vito Filitti on September 6, 1947, in Avon, New York; he died April 13, 2000.

She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church; she enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Anna also enjoyed cooking and traveling.

She was employed at Champion Packaging for 21 years retiring in 1982.

She is survived by one son: Michael (Jan) Filitti of Clinton, IA; daughters, Elaine (David) Arnold of Nathrop, CO and Carol (Kurt) Bice of Le Claire, IA; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. They will all miss her greatly.

In addition to her husband, Anna was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and her brother.

Memorials may be made to the Alverno.
